MY SYNOPSIS
Once upon a time, Gage Watson had a promising freeriding career, until a terrible accident and a disastrous trial took all that away, with special help from the woman he loved, of course..
Now, three years later, that same woman needs him to save his brother’s life, and, against his better judgement, that’s exactly what he’s planning to do.
SHORT REVIEW
Your past can come down like an avalanche. Always bring your beacon.
FULL REVIEW
Now we’re talking!
This novel is awesome! I read it in one day, and I loved it from beginning to end.
I was having a good time with this series so far, but “A Matter of Trust” took it all to the next level. I’m fully committed now.
Gage is amazing. Definitely, my favorite character in the book. In the entire Montana Rescue series, actually. He’s real and always ready to help others no matter what. I can’t believe how much I enjoyed reading his story, his hopes, his past, and his dreams. I felt a special connection with him. Ella was great too, but Gage will have a place in my heart forever.
Also, this book is so well-written. Susan May Warren is an artist with words. I was totally involved with everything that happened throughout the book, even the sub-plots. It’s incredible how the author is building the tension between the other characters in order to make you want more and more of them.
It’s working, Susie!
The PEAK Rescue team is far from over! I know that this series will keep getting better and better, and I can’t wait to see how all the details in the stories finally connect.
**I received a copy of this book from Revell through NetGalley in exchange for my honest review. All opinions expressed are my own**
FAVORITE QUOTES
+ «People simply did what they wanted, regardless of common sense.»
+ «You promise to stay in my line? Trust everything I do, even if it doesn’t make sense?»
+ «…to whom much is given…much is expected, and I was given a lot.»
GAGE WATSON
According to Susan May Warren, Gage would look like Aidan Turner, and, well, I have to agree with her 😉
