“The best way to get things done is to simply begin”
I saw that quote on Pinterest a couple of days ago and it captured my heart immediately.
It’s so true.
I think the sense of “everything must be perfect in order to do what I want” is really familiar to all of us.
Problem is “perfect moment” seldom shows up on time.
“Perfect idea” usually doesn’t reveal itself right away.
So what do you do?
If you decide to wait until all happens as you imagined, I’ll tell you the truth: you could wait forever and do nothing.
I’ve learned this in my not-so-long life:
Begin.
Begin now.
Do what you can with what you have at this present time that is less than perfect and see how it goes.
Do something.
Sometimes you realize that the perfect moment was always there but you could not see it. You were not giving yourself the chance.
Do you want to write?
Write. Words will come.
Do you want to draw?
Draw. Inspiration will find you.
“Perfect” will have the way to get to you while you’re moving.
And, at the end of the day, you’ll be glad you actually began because everyday seems to be more, more what you thought it would be.
